The Mountain Gokart...
.. is a newly developed device that makes go-karting so much fun.
The wide tyres and good disc brakes offer a sense of security right from the beginning of the run.
The front wheel with shock absorbers keeps good ground contact and also provides safety at high speeds. The very comfortable seat with an ergonomic seating position makes driving a real pleasure.
The spectacular ride on the Mountain Gokart takes you along the road under the Hochwurzen gondola through beautiful natural landscapes. It is a guaranteed hit for families, clubs or corporate events.

In the construction of these Mountain GoKarts safety has been a top priority!
Each Mountain Gokart has:
- Low centre of gravity for high driving stability
- Wide wheelbase for high lateral stability
- Hydraulic disc brakes (dual-circuit brake system)
- Ergonomic seating for a comfortable and relaxed driving position
- High-quality aluminium frame
The Track
This is the beginning of an unforgettable adventure...
First you ascend on the Gipfelbahn gondola to the summit of the Hochwurzen ready to start your ride at 1850m. You will arrive at the summit and see indescribable panoramic views.
You will get the best views of the Ennsvalley, the Schladming Tauern and the Dachstein Massif from up here.
The Panorama Trail or the trail to the Roßfeld is just a short walk through the colourful nature at the summit of Hochwurzen. Or you can stop for culinary delights and homemade food in the Hochwurzenhütte.
Then, before you there is the 7 km long Mountain Gokart route. You will be greeted by trained guides and given a short briefing so that you can tackle the run and arrive at the bottom of the course as safely as possible.
Here we go!
And so the 7 km long route begins. It takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes for you to arrive at the bottom of the valley at the Gipfelbahn base station. Fun for the whole family - for young and old!

Where do you rent the Mountain Gokart and where do you get the ticket?
Right in the sports shop Ski Lenz at the Gipfelbahn valley station car park!
Ski Lenz also offers a wide range of outdoor clothes and accessories, bags, sunglasses, hiking boots etc
If you can’t decide if you want to Gokart or you are already at the summit and want to give it a go you can buy tickets at the Hochwurzenhütte at the summit.
How it works, and let the adventure begin!
- Tickets for hire and ascent can be bought in the Sport Shop Ski Lenz at the base station Gipfelbahn.
- Ascent with the new 10-person gondola up to the summit
- Mountain go-carts and helmets are available for you at the start
- There will be a brief introduction by a guide at the start of the adventurous 7 km long descent

INFO: Children from a height of 145 cm may, with the consent of their parents, travel alone on the Mountain Gokart. You could use your own helmet.

By Car:
Coming from the A10 turn after Radstadt / Schladming.
From the A9 in Liezen the Enns Valley and on to Schladming.
In Schladming follow the signs for Rohrmoos.
In Rohrmoos straight on, up the mountain to the Gipfelbahn base station.
Next to it is the Sport Shop Ski Lenz.
